Future

CRaTER has been helping scientists understand the risk from cosmic rays.  But cosmic rays are just one of the many challenges that humans will face in space.  The people working for and with NASA are preparing to meet these challenges.

NASA is currently deciding where to send future astronauts and how to get them there.  Because this planning is still underway, it is difficult to keep the information current.  Rather than describe NASA’s plans, we have included links to NASA websites.
